Pursuit of excellence and innovation - PRO won another two Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Record Awards
The "Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Record" is organized by the Federation of Shenzhen Industries and jointly carried out by 13 government departments and 58 industry associations. Since its inception in 2002, the event has been held for 16 sessions consecutively. It aims to encourage Shenzhen enterprises to carry out extensive independent innovation and improve productivity. After extensive case collection and professional evaluation, a total of 194 projects were reviewed and approved for the 16th Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Record. These projects covered 34 industries, with new industries such as AR, photographic equipment and testing and certification services. Nine projects won national, provincial and municipal awards for technological progress.

A coupling fluid supply device for the HIFU therapy system
An ultrasonic coupling device provides a coupling medium during HIFU treatment. It is well known that HIFU treatment requires coupling media to ensure the smooth transmission of ultrasound. The coupling agent applied manually during an ultrasonic inspection is a type of coupling medium. Conventional coupling devices for focused ultrasound therapy typically use degassed water as a coupling medium. This record-setting PRO device is a new type of coupling device. The device allows the addition of a stirred liquid mixed with medical alcohol and polyvinylpyrrolidone to the traditional degassed water. A quality coupling liquid can then be produced when the liquid mixture is fully mixed together with the degassed water. With good coupling performance, this kind of coupling fluid provides a better transmission medium for the ultrasonic waves emitted by the HIFU treatment probe. In addition, this innovative invention has surpassed the limit of only using the degassed water or organic solvent as a medium for sound transmission during the traditional HIFU treatment. This device is the first of its kind in China.

An intelligent tissue-mimicking ultrasound phantom for HIFU evaluation
The intelligent tissue-mimicking ultrasound phantom is also called the tissue-mimicking ultrasound phantom. Because its acoustic characteristics are similar to that of human tissue and it has high transparency, it has become an indispensable tool for ultrasound medical research and applications. Traditional phantoms are often hard and less flexible, so they are not clinically convenient and are easy to crack. In addition, it takes a long time to produce them. PRO has developed this record-setting phantom, a new type of phantom using a new production technique. This new phantom features good plasticity, elasticity and transparency. It facilitates medical research on and clinical use of ultrasound and also provides a clearer picture of the ultrasound treatment process. This phantom can also be used repeatedly. In addition, the time required to make this phantom is nearly a quarter shorter than the time required to make a traditional phantom. This invention is the first of its kind in China.
