Expert opinion

. "Most patients are unwilling to have their uterus removed even though they suffer from severe menstrual pain and experience abnormally heavy menstrual bleeding that makes them anemic".

. "Many countries are using our focused ultrasound technology, which is mostly used to treat benign uterine diseases and malignant tumors with excellent results".

. "Our hospital has treated more than 300 cases of adenomyosis, and more than a dozen patients requested to preserve their fertility. The biggest advantage of HIFU is that it allows patients to preserve their uterus and improve their menstruation. Patients can just wait for six months after HIFU treatment and then they can get pregnant".

. "Adenomyosis is a very complex gynecological condition, so surgery cannot completely cure it. We recommend that patients receive the HIFU non-invasive integrated treatment and long-term management".
