Established in 1941, the Department of Gynecology of the People's Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is a key department of the hospital and one of the main departments constituting the Guangxi Provincial Minimally Invasive Surgery Center. The department was included in the first batch of level IV gynecological endoscopic surgery training bases by the Ministry of Health in 2011. It is also a training center for minimally invasive treatment in Guangxi Province. It became a key department of maternal and child health services and a key clinical department in Guangxi Province in 2018.
